What an enormously friendly staff! They were so welcoming, helped us with all questions we had(special thanks for fixing the tv!) and we had the warmest check-in and check-out. In most hotels the check-out is merely a formal goodbye, but in this case the lady was so kind. Lovely breakfast with fresh ingredients. Very large beds, big rooms, impeccably clean. Loved the lounge downstairs for coffee and some chat. Nice neighbourhood with restaurants and shops, perfect location. Great information and guidelines from the hotel. We truly recommend!

Shannon River House is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The setting by the river is simply breathtaking; peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. A special mention has to go to the lovely dogs. They completely stole our hearts! They were so friendly and affectionate, making the whole experience even more memorable. We like the apartment and is exactly as described and shown in pictures. We were also offered to use the washing machine and dryer! Great host and close to many wonderful locations, like Clare Glens walking trail ( which was suggested by Mike). We only had one night as we were moving from one location to the other but still loved it!

1. This property was equipped with top notch facilities such as oven, heater, refrigerator, tv, heated duvet, etc. 2. The property is not very far from the centre if you are travelling by car. 3. Some ingredients were already provided by the host and the host also asked us if we need any other ingredients, he would be happy to provide. 4. The host catered for almost everything which also included a nice welcoming music and apart from the instructions email that we received, the host also wrote useful instructions using Post-It notes. 5. The property had an outdoor space to have breakfast/ dinner and also a playing area for the children. The host also provided several indoor games such as chess, monopoly, etc. 6. There were several leaflets / pamphlets provided by the host for the activities that could be done in the area. 7. It is an ideal place to stay if you want a good break from your daily routine. 8. The room was very spacious and had plenty of room to store your luggage. 9. The bathroom was very spacious and also toiletries including shower gel, shampoo, etc. and several towels were provided by the host. 10. This property can easily be compared to a 5 star hotel or even better.
