We stayed in this beautiful guesthouse where everything was perfect. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The Breakfast room is very cosy and tastefully furnished with a great variety of breads, danish pastries, fresh fruit, cereals and much more. Great location with alot of things to see and do. We loved our stay at River View. Kristina and her family couldn't have been more welcoming. It was a last minute booking and everything was ready to go when we arrived. The house itself is brand new, with everything you need - modern, fitted out kitchen, lovely shower and beautiful views. We were only staying for one night but it would make a great base for a few days exploring the area. The house is an easy 10 minute walk from Kilcar village which has everything you need. Kristina was even kind enough to offer us a lift down to the town. This was great value for such warm hospitality in a great location. I would definitely recommend staying on a Tuesday evening to catch the trad session in John Joe's Bar, if you're looking for genuine Traditional Irish Music, this is it.
