This place was everything we hoped for and more: really close to the Golden temple and other central places. The shower was great and had hot water and we even got a heater, coming in the cold winter. Arsh, the owner was so friendly and welcoming and helped us so much with recommendations and booking a taxi to the Pakistan border for the change of shifts ceremony and to the bus station. We will definitely stay in here again when we come back and highly recommend it!

Hotel BlackWood is a perfect place to stay in Amritsar. It is close to the center and Golden Temple.The room was very pleasant, it was neat and clean The hotel team has always been friendly and helpful No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to them with all your concerns. On my next stays, I will definitely check into Hotel BlackWood again. The price performance is very good as comparitely with other hotels with such spacious room.

The property is at an excellent location and is very professionally maintained. The level of amenities is extraordinary for the price. But the major differentiator is the guide book and itinerary that the owner takes the time to patiently explain. wonderful hotel! very clean! excellent service. very tasty breakfast! wonderful and friendly host. he is ready to help in any situation. the apartments overlooking the garden are very large.with a huge balcony.     great food, breakfast is excellent, and overall service is great. very polite staff. pool was clean. child friendly. very accommodating for child's food choices. they arranged balloons and cake for my kid's birthday. The chef gave him a kitchen tour for his birthday and a nice pastry. Restaurant staff really pampered my kid, indulging him. Great stay.
