We had a stopover of two days during our cycling trip in India in Vala house. It appeared to be a gem. Away from the hustle with great views on the backwaters with birds and fisherman. Lalu and his wife took care of us. Just amazing people. Friendly and helpful. Great hospitality. We highly recommend this beautiful place close to Cherai beach!

Staff were so lovely, the property had a view of the lake, had a treehouse, massage services & morning yoga classes !! And was also a 2 minute walk to the beach!! It was so relaxing and the breakfast was also amazing!

Such a nice homestay experience, probably best we had in our travels in India, Sajeev and his sons were so helpful, nothing was a problem, they were ready to help with everything. The accomodation is clean and cosy and there is hot water. Great location, beach is right across the street, there is a tuktuk stand there and Sajeev also provides scooter rental for very decent price.

An amazing experience! It was one of the best homestays I've ever stayed at! The hosts are lovely people, very welcoming and super friendly. The breakfasts are so tasty too! Gokhan was super helpful, showing me around the local area, ensuring I could work comfortably when I needed to,and even organising a scooter rental for me! Close to some incredible beaches and great restaurants too. The local area is stunning and easily accessible to all the main spots by foot. I highly recommend this hidden gem if you want peace, quiet, and amazing hospitality.

What else can we say ? It was perfect... The room was amazing and Stains and his wife and daughter were so friendly... Very thoughtful in every detail. We felt like we were at home. The breakfast was excellent. Various and tasty. Thank you again for everything! The nearest beaches are 20 min walk away. The area is just so lovely to walk around.

The location was stunning! Rooms were gorgeous with an outdoor shower. Set in gorgeous landscape gardens. The restaurant was fabulous and chef cooked us special treats. Food was cooked to order. Daniya our server was so helpful.
