We had such a lovely time at Toroland Resort. The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the cottages were super cozy and well-kept. The whole atmosphere helped us truly relax, and waking up to the sounds of the forest was just beautiful. The food was delicious — fresh, homely, and full of local flavor. The jeep safari was a real highlight of our trip such a fun and scenic experience! The team was incredibly warm and welcoming. We did miss the bush dinner due to rain, and the weather kept us from exploring a bit more, but everything else more than made up for it. We'd absolutely love to come back again, hopefully with clearer skies next time!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Soly and her husband are extremely kind, help in any way they can and treated us like family. Their house is the cleanest place I've ever stayed at, with very spacious rooms, amazing view of the forest, hot water and super delicious breakfast. We booked one night and ended up staying 3. A good restaurant just outside for lunch or dinner too. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed :)

Staff are very nice. Reception staff and F&B staff. I will not forget your hospitality! plus here food are very nice. We loved paneer mutter masala! no need to eat outside food, it was nice but reasonable price. view are nice.

An absolute gem. The homestay nestles beautifully in the hills near Munnar, with a gorgeous garden and the nicest hosts you could wish for. Food is homemade and delicious and the owners helped me with any queries I had, like organising tours and drivers and overall making sure I had a pleasant stay; which I did.

It was an exceptional stay. Beautiful scenery. Incredible friendly host preparing breakfast (and if you need yummy traditional dinner). They also do organise transport if needed through small taxi companies with good and knowledgeable drivers. It was the best accomodation on our whole trip (Kerala and Tamil Nadu).

My first direct contact with India was with Joe and his lovely home and my standards are now very high. My jaw dropped when I saw the view from the balcony. Next, I was impressed by the beautiful room, the art infused home, warm smiles while breakfast was being served, very good food cooked inhouse. All activities run smoothly, like a well oiled machine, and Joe is the magician. I wished I stayed longer, to talk more and meet the family. Till next time!

Staying here felt like being in a private resort surrounded by nature. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable, helping with everything and even organizing an amazing jeep tour and mountain trek for me. The homemade breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the peaceful atmosphere is perfect if you’re looking to escape the crowds. Just next door is a lovely Spice Garden where you can take a guided tour and buy some of the best spices in India. If you’re coming to Munnar for nature and genuine hospitality, this place is a must.
