It was such a cool place to stay at even or especially during a December snow storm. We enjoyed the rough, wild countryside and being away from the city. We loved Askur and Freyja, the working dogs who visited us regularly. Seeing and petting the sheep at the barn was a highlight! The hosts were super kind showing us everything!

A small gem for anyone who needs a base to visit Snaefellsnes Peninsula or the Golden Circle. The property is a separate house located on the farm. It has a parking spot, naturally heated floors, 2 bedrooms and a living room. Very spacious for 4 people. We loved the hot tub, which Eirikur thoughtfully prepared for us so that it was ready upon arrival, and we and the kids loved selecting a few tomatoes and cucumbers for our dinner (the cherry tomatoes are absolutely delicious). Eirikur even graciously offered to pull a cable from his shed so that we could charge our car! There is even a tiny tiny hotspring right next to the property!

Everything was perfect. The house was clean and the owner very helpful and fast to answer every question. The location is perfect for spotting the Northern lights as its in a small hill outside of the city. The jakuzi was a plus (although no bubbles). I would recommend.

Lovely setting- the troll garden was fun and the view of the waterfall and river was nice; easy check-in; pods were a good size and having storage under the bed was really useful. Site was clean and felt fresh and new. Very helpful that there was a mini fridge.

Very good camp, located in beautiful scenery, with two kitchens very well equipped, private shower available, three hot tubes, restaurant with the great view, where you can order a breakfast (if you do it in advance the price is lower), children’s playground. You can also order bed linen at the additional price (also the price us lower if you book in advance) where you get the towels as well. The stuff us very friendly and helpful 😊

Charming place with small camping pods and cottages in different sizes, located next to a beautiful waterfall. Clean and tidy, and with nice facilities such as a shared kitchen, hot tubs and restrooms. They also had a troll garden and playground for kids. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast (not included) was nice. Great value for money!

This place is the best during my trip. Too bad I stayed here for only one night. Room is clean. Host is very polite and helpful. Breakfast was great!! I felt like they didn't try to save cost on food for you at all. Well, Iceland is expensive in general. So to be fair, compared to other places I have been, this place got the highest value for money. Looks like they are family running the place, and I can see they put attention to details.

Such a magical place. We stayed in the camping pods which were super clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful looking out over the meandering waterfall and the Troll walk was so much fun even just for us adults ! (kids would love it as there is a play area and mini golf) The staff were super friendly and helpful and and I loved the hot tub. We went for a little walk to the nearby lake in the morning. One of our favourite stays in Iceland!
