Everything. It was in a lovely location, away from the main road and very quiet. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. We only stayed one night, the first in Iceland, and it was a fantastic start to our holiday. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Breakfast was the best we had all our holiday, freshly made and amazing. Can’t recommend this hotel enough, it was a great find….a little gem!

We stayed one night at The Garage during our honeymoon roadtrip in Iceland and absolutely fell in love with this place! We wish we would have stayed longer. We have travalled a lot over the world but this place was special: so warm and cozy - felt like home away from home. We had studio apartment which was beautifully decorated and we also loved the private terrace with view to the beach. Location next to the mountains and waterfall is just amazing! We also loved sheep, two dogs, elf homes and hot tube (that was perfect relaxation after the long drive). Hosts were amazing too - Anna had baked some sweets which we guests were welcome to enjoy, they were so good!

I am so very happy with our stay at ChickenCoop. The position is amazing, like right out of an National Geographic Picture. It was so peaceful and relaxing, only thing I could hear was the little stream outside our house! House itself was beautifully arranged inside, very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was very spacious! I was very pleased to find coffe, oil, tea and other things useful for cooking, as I completely forgot to buy oil 🙄 . Communication with owner was flawless! Directions for check in were very clear. If you are looking for a place were to stay while driving on the ring road, look no further, this place is perfect! ❤ Can't wait to come back soon!

Great scenery all around, and it was close to some of the must-see destinations in southern Iceland without being too far from the Capital. Great place to stay for the price, and everything was clean.

Far and away the best place we stayed in Iceland (and we stayed in some nice places!) This gorgeous, family-run manor house was full of charm and coziness -- truly nothing anodyne about it. The staff was so lovely and the food was phenomenal. We would return to southern Iceland just to stay here again.

Amazing and remote with good food. We had stayed at numerous places on our road trip of Iceland, and this was a great place to stop off for a night before continuing on the next day.
