There should be a different category for hotels like this: a destination hotel :-) Of course we were road tripping across Iceland, so we never stayed anywhere more than 1 night, but if we had, it would have been here: wow! The staff is VERY friendly and VERY professional, you can see that they enjoy working there. The food was great, the breakfast was wonderful, the lobby is fabulous, the bar and lounge were superb. The entire design and setup of the hotel is just perfect. We had a great room with glacier (lake) view. And don't get me started on the two outdoor hot tubs and the outdoor sauna: we enjoyed it until 22:00 hrs (thank you) after a long drive, and we enjoyed the next morning at 7 AM as well. WOW!

The guesthouse had a amazing view out to the fields and the ocean. It was a great northern lights viewing spot as well - we caught a geomagnetic storm when we arrived and it was beautiful! The stay was comfortable especially for the price. I loved that the building that our room was at had a small living room to chill at, it was comfortable and had a great view :) Free parking and affordable breakfast too!

Yes, we love this place very much though it may not near to central, no impact for us since we are driving and easy to locate the property. It is a beautiful cottage, in a great location with a great view !! Everything was clean !! The staff was very helpful with everything we needed! We spoke with Lucie, Anna & Renata and they were all amazing !

The rooms are spacious and the hotel plot is big. Its decor has some style, with some vintages clothes and items on display in the hall. Some sheeps grazed on the grassland outside my room window and it's fun to see them there. Breakfast was good.
