The place is amazing! It used to be a stable long ago, the owners did a excellent job on converting it into a huge guesthouse. The room is nice, all new and rebuilt; and the breakfast is great. About the location: it's 30 minutes from Reyðarfjörður (where you can go to Búðará Canyon and Búðarárfoss, and this small town has gas stations with fast charging stations for electric cars), 50 minutes from Egilsstaðir, and 2 hours from Stuðlagil Canyon.

This place is just amazing. Beautiful house with all you need for the stay. Fully equipped kitchen, several rooms. Everything clean and nice. There is a small patio in front of the house where you also have a barbecue (we didn't use it). It is close to the port and really a perfect spot to stay during the trip around east fjords. Next time I would like to stay longer than just one night. There were just two of us so we didn't use rooms on the first floor but the house can accomodate few people. Contact with the host was also easy and we received answers to our questions quickly. Great value for money in my view.

A spacious apartment that was a special treat for our family’s ring road adventure. Nice way to change up the usual hotel stay and this way we also did some laundry mid- week! The town is nice too though we didn’t have enough time to explore for to onward reservations.

It was in a very nice location, with a waterfall outside our window, very clean, easy town access and the best thing was the unlimited coffee from machine! The laundry was also included in the price.

I had to postpone my reservation for 24 hours due to weather conditions. The staff was very understanding, made my trip easier, and made me feel safe. The organization and amenities are exceptional. This is a unique place.

Exceptional location overlooking the fiords and the town. Very nice host who came over to check all was good as we arrived in the middle of a storm. And he also brought chocolate cookies as a welcome gift! I would definitely recommend this place. You can really see that this cottage is cured with love by the owner.
