Location was very good, quite near Skogafoss (10min drive) and Seljalandsfoss (20min drive), but it was still far from main road, which makes it very quite. Check-in and communication with the host was easy and clear. It has all the amenities for a short stay and I would definitely repeat it in a next time. :)

The space was absolutely pristine, excellent kitchen facilities and breathtaking view. The images of the property really do not do it justice, it is a comfortable, clean and well furnished space. We booked this last minute when the weather slowed our journey on the south coast, and honestly if I could do the trip again I would chose here as a base to explore from rather than Reykjavik.

    the staff were fantastic in all areas of the hotel. The hotel in general exceeded our expectations whether it was the games and books in common areas to the exceptional food in the restaurant. The hotel is also a close walk to the black sand beach with a short 10/15 min walk. One of the best hotel finds on our trip with the staff looking after our little 2 year old Austen like family :)

    Large family room, coffee maker down the corridor [no milk], excellent location by falls, breakfast not a vast choice but OK. We didn't have dinner as heard it was overpriced. 2 beers 1 wine €36!

    Very friendly, helpful staff. Check-in was a breeze. Big, warm, clean, modern family room that smelt nice (according to the kids). The meal at the restaurant was lovely, especially the soup, and the buffet breakfast was outstanding! The waterfall nearby is beautiful. Thank you Hotel Skogafoss.

    We love this questhouse so much. The owner let us check in early which is nice because we been dying to cook hot food. Only a few minutes walk to Skogafoss, yes really. The house have a wonderfull kitchen with cooking appliances and a farm view. In the morning you can go out and watch the sunrise from the kitchen. The bed is comfy and heater works well. Highly recommended to anyone even a family with kids.

    Everything was great. Service was superb and went out of their way to solve a problem we had which made the trip a lot better for one of our family member. Breakfast was very nice and wide range of food to enjoy in the morning. Access to free coffee and hot chocolate which the kids loved. Very close to Skógarfoss which was nice, you could basically just put your shoes on and be at the waterfall in 3-5 minutes.
