I was very pleased by the warm and welcoming staff, I stayed one night for a business trip in the area and enjoyed amazing food in their in house restaurant and the attention and friendlyness of their staff was outstanding (restaurant, reception and housekeeping staff). The rooms are very stylish with amazing view and I love that they use l'occitane products in their rooms. Mattress was also 1+ and extremely comfortable, much better than in other hotels. This is by far my most favourite Hotel in Vik, I stayed in all of them several times for business trips and I would always recommend Hotel Vik y Myrdal over all other hotels. Also their restaurant and bar is absolutely the best. I never tried the breakfast as it only starts at 7:30 but I am very sure it is very good, too.

The Barn is located near the village of Vík between the Mýrdalsjölill Glacier and the southern coast of Iceland. This hostel provides free WiFi and complimentary parking on site.

They kindly accepted to change our dates due to a flight cancellation, so last minute our plans changed but they understood and helped us. The room was super cozy with nice wooden smell. the views are good so is perfect place to enjoy and don’t spend too much money

Opened in July 2018, Hótel Kría is situated in Vík. Among the various facilities are a garden and a bar. There is a restaurant. The black sand beaches begin about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel.

The staff was courteous and allowed us to check-in earlier as my parents were not feeling well. The location was very accessible - close to a big supermarket and a gas station. We got a free upgrade from 2 rooms with communal amenities to an apartment with its own toilet and kitchen, which was great! Thank you so much for the amazing stay!

Good location, great shared kitchen and very clean . Only 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets so worked well. Would definitely recommend.
