The host was very responsive and tried to follow our needs. They made very nice beds for our kids. The oven in the kitchen was excellent for heating up the pizza. Garden was also nice to have!

Excellent location. The cottage is so lovely, really well appointed. The kitchen is fantastic. And the view from the room is amazing! The parking is really helpful!

Smell of Mold through the house, especially the cupboards. The house was so damp. Even the towels we were given were damp. Quite shocking. Do not stay here if you have asthma as I do.

The location was nice. Just 10 minutes walking to the center and enjoying the lake view during the walk. The breakfast was also lovely with four kinds of home made cake’s. Nice coffee, juice, milk for kids. Just in front of the house there is a small kids playground.

The location is perfect. I know the town well and the property is well located within the town with convenient parking nearby and in walking distance to the facilities of the town and the starts of various hikes. We like hiking in the national parks and Civitella Alfedena is a perfect base. The main windows overlook the valley and Villetta Barea and we were surprised to see wolves in the sanctuary below us on the last day, this must be the reserve sanctuary for the wolves as it is separate to the main one. The night time temperatures were quite cold but the heating system kept the house warm at all times.
