One of the best places that I have ever stayed! The apartment was fantastic, spotlessly clean and everything you may need. The space is so big but with lovely homely touches. There is a fantastic terrace to either catch the gorgeous sunrises or have a glass of wine in the evenings. The location is great, in a neighbourhood where live just rolls by for locals and you can watch all this from above and enjoy how people live their lives. Our host Virginio was so attentive and checked in with us to see if we needed anything more. Bernalda is a gorgeous town, very typical of Italian life with some great restaurants. A great town to base yourself and visit other lovely towns close by. This was one of our favourite stays on our Italian road trip. Thank you again for everything and we will be back🙌

This place is a jewel! A winery/ farm hotel close enough to the beaches. Loved everything about it. The facilities are so unique and beautiful decorated. The room was spacious with a nice balcony outside. The restaurant has delicious breakfast and dinner . Best appetizers I’ve ever had. Fresh local products. The pool area was the best ! I would love to go back!

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was very peaceful and the view in the morning was a lovely thing to wake up to. We enjoyed having a BBQ in the evenings and watching the falcons circle over the hillside. It only took 30 minutes to reach both the beach and Matera from the house which was very convenient. Pomarico is a small, authentic, Italian town. The locals were very friendly and accomodating despite the language barrier, people were patient and almost happy for us to attempt to speak Italian with the help of Google Translate. The local shops had amazing local produce. I had some of the best bread I have ever eaten from the bakery and the salsiccia pezzente from the butcher was fantastic. I only knew to try all of these things because our host, Antonello was so helpful and full of local knowledge. Every morning he would come and make us fresh cappucinos and provide us with breakfast. He has a great sense of humour and would give me Italian lessons and I would help to improve his (already very good) English. His wife, Stefania visited us a few times and together, they were wonderful hosts. Friendly, funny, helpful and patient. What more can you ask for? We both really enjoyed our stay here and will return in the future. Grazie mille, professore Atonello ;-)
