What a fabulous house. We felt very lucky indeed to be able to stay here. Very close to Monte Cassino. There is a lovely pool area for guests to enjoy. A dining room and kitchen also at the guests disposal. A family run guest house who are doing an amazing job. Highly recommended.

A wonderful agriturismo full of character in beautiful gardens with views of Monte Cassino. Our apartment was set over two floors with a spiral staircase connecting the kitchen / lounge area to the bedroom. There was a lot of activity at the venue with family parties and a young musicians event, but this made for the family atmosphere.

Great place to stay & especially if you are here to explore & find information about family members involved in WW2.. Everybody was so friendly & helpful. We sincerely thank you for your help. Location is easy for walking to town centre, bus to the Abbey & the Commonwealth cemetary .

This was our second visit to Il Maniero. It was lovely to be back and to see the family again. The location is good and the property is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Giuseppe and Julie welcomed us with open arms. It was like visiting our own family. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was super. There is a kitchen area for guests to use which is a real advantage. It is a wonderful place to relax and near to Cassino. Giuseppe was extremely helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We look forward to returning there.

This seems like a family run hotel and they are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is a little away from downtown Cassino but they recommended a local taxi driver who took us wherever and whenever we wanted, all for a very reasonable price.

The most charming place to stay in Monte Cassino. Pino the owner has dedicated himself to promoting a better understanding of the war time history of the town and actively promoting reconciliation and educating local school children. The hotel is a museum ensuring historically important artefacts are displayed and more importantly explained. Do visit Pino and support his great work as part of your stay.

Loved my stay here. Very friendly staff. Pina very informative on WW2 in Cassino and his memorabilia collection is awesome. Especially as the museum at Montecassino was closed for winter. View to mountain is beautiful. If you are retracing steps for family history stay here.

As said on earlier visit, the breakfast food was perfectly acceptable but unexciting. Did not use the pool which looked great. The ambience was great. The staff were outstandingly helpful.i We were following a family project as my husband's father was killed in WW2 before the battle of Monte Cassino, and we were pointed in right direction to get flowers for his grave.

The breakfast was well appointed and had a nice variety for my family, with two adults and two children.
