it was within easy walking distance of the town but far enough tout to be very quiet and peaceful. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. ample breakfast and huge cup of cappuccino. Although we spoke little Italian, the host was very kind and generous.

Exceptional stay in beautiful Scanno – amazing hosts and great value! We had a wonderful time at this apartment in Scanno. The place is new, very cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The beds were especially comfortable, and the whole apartment felt like a home away from home. Our hosts, Lorena and Antolleno, were truly outstanding — warm, helpful, and incredibly flexible. Due to unexpected changes in our flight schedule, we had to make last-minute adjustments, and they were more than accommodating, always making us feel welcome and at ease. Scanno itself is a charming small town with beautiful surroundings, and the apartment is just a 5-minute drive (or a scenic 20-minute walk) to a stunning lake. It’s a perfect spot to relax, explore nature, and enjoy authentic Italian mountain life. Overall, this place is a fantastic value for money, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

The term agriturismo is fundamental to mold your expectations and understanding of the place. Having said that, the stay was charming, honest and enjoyable in every aspect, even when it rained. Wonderful hosts, candid and caring, in a unique and beautiful setup beyond words very close to Scano. Great country food prepared with dedication and culinary honesty. No fireworks, no Pinterest BS, all real. If you are looking for a flashy hotel, this is not for you. If you like the country side, the mountains ans stunning views, you will have a blast. The arrival is a work of cinematography.

il Rifugio del Lupo is a small friendly hotel. We had a large clean room. The breakfast was very generous. The restaurant had a good choice of dishes; it's a bit expensive but the local wine was delicious.

Basically everything from the welcome of the Owner to everything. We were in the back room but the kindness of the owner changed us to a better and great view room. The excellent of the food in the evening was amazing. Breakfast very good too.
