We had a very nice and spacious family room on the first floor, with a beautiful bathroom. We enjoyed the peaceful location, the pool and the view on the mountains from the pool area. There was a wide choice of savoury and sweet foods for breakfast and great coffee. We loved the freshly baked bread and croissants as well as the chocolate pie. The host Rossana was lovely. She was very helpful and spoke English. She recommended places to visit and restaurants and helped with anything we asked. The B&B is next to a horse training area which added to the charm.

Great property spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It is very modern with quality fittings and appliances. We did love it here and would highly recommend staying here. It is within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. What also makes a property is not only cleanliness and comfort but the people who run it, just beautiful, caring and guenuine people! Alexia is the sweetest person and her love shows, making sure we enjoyed our stay! Made us feel so welcome and as it turns out they own the bakery down below the B&B, the aroma of baking bread wafting through our window early in the morning was just sensational! Needless to say so was the freshly baked goodies delivered to our room first thing in the morning! The bakery is something else, just go and buy up, everything is so delicious! Their pizza is the best, as was the spinach calzone and ham and chese pastries, so lucky to have this right underneath us. While visiting Policoro make sure you visit Sfizi Del Palato, best meat on the planet at a reasonable price! Highly recommend a stay at I Giardini Di Zelda fantastic value for money!

Everything was great, the flat was large enough with all needed stuff (dishwasher, washing machine, cooker etc). Importantly all the cleaners for dishwasher and washing machine was also provided, so we did not have to buy them. We stayed at the 3rd week of September and the temperature outside and inside was great. Part of the flat is a cute balcony where you can have meal. Rocco was very nice and waited for us with the check-in, even though our train was delayed.

I don't normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one. We had a wonderful stay at Sunshine Policoro. The apartment felt more like a spacious suite - it had a fully equipped kitchen, with everything we needed. It was modern, clean, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The calm and quiet atmosphere, as well as the nature, around the property made it easy for us to unplug. The private swimming pool looked completely new and clean and was never crowded. The location was ideal for exploring nearby areas in Basilicata and Puglia, such as Matera, Parco della Grancia, Gravina, Alberobello, and Polignano a Mare. We were able to see all these places on our day trips. What truly made our stay special was the owner, Lello, who was incredibly helpful, offering excellent recommendations on local restaurants and must-see spots. His hospitality and local tips really made us feel welcome and at home. Overall, I highly recommend Sunshine Policoro for anyone looking for comfort, relaxation and genuinely local experiences. It's the perfect place for exploring the region and immersing yourself in Italian culture. I don't think I've ever recommended a place as highly before.
