Our experience at Dimora Giquadro was exceptional in every regard. Gabriel and Georgia are not only the perfect hosts – they are also among the most genuine, generous, and warm-hearted people we’ve ever encountered. Their hospitality set the tone for what became one of the most enjoyable vacations we’ve ever had. We arrived one day earlier than expected and ended up staying a day longer – all effortlessly arranged with Gabriel and Georgia, thanks to their remarkable flexibility and willingness to accommodate our needs on the fly. The welcome was both warm and delicious: we were greeted with local Italian specialties, including a traditional moka pot inclusive the coffee for it – a perfect introduction to the region’s charm. Gabriel also provided excellent recommendations for day trips and local gems, always spot-on and thoughtfully tailored. The house itself is spacious, bright, and full of character. It combines rustic charm with practical comfort, offering everything needed for a relaxed and authentic stay. The two bathrooms and the washing machine were particularly appreciated. The bathrooms, acoustically connected, even added a humorous and unexpectedly philosophical layer to our stay – you’ll understand once you’re there. We traveled as a young couple from Austria by electric car, and the location was ideal both for recharging (literally and figuratively) and for discovering beautiful places along the way. Charging the EV via the kitchen socket worked reliably with my personal Juice Booster 2 and Schuko adapter – more on that below. As for EV charging, we advise limiting the load to 8A when using the kitchen socket, to avoid overloading the circuit. Most travel adapters allow for 1.5–2 kW, which is enough for charging over night. With a proper setup (we used the Juice Booster 2 and an extension cable), it was reliable and convenient.

Superb location, between olive groves. The owners are very kind and helpful. The house is very well equipped, modern with everything necessary for a stay, it is clean. The same courtyard, plus bathroom and shower in the courtyard, barbecue and oven. The beach at 10 minutes, Torre Gauceto with paid parking space and reservation required (both the parking lot and the beach https://www.riservaditorreguaceto.it/index.php/en/) or at 15 minutes the free beach, Morgicchio where you can park for free on the adjacent streets.
