This house is in a beautiful location right next to the little port and close to a lovely beach. We enjoyed fishing in the evening and swam at the beach often. The house is spacious and comfortable with a great communal dining/cooking area. The plentiful wash facilities are superb. We love the onsen!

Hitomi and Nicholas are very friendly and have picked up us at the airport right after we landed the Island. Hitomi was so smart by predicting the cancellation of our flight due to heavy frost and directed us to the Ferry Pier to Nagasaki so that we could catch up our flight in Fukuoka next day. We had a wonderful stay at Oteragoto on Fukue, it was one of the most charming places we’ve stayed in over 2 months in Japan! In particular, the room was very large, the bathroom was like having a private sento, the e-bikes allowed us to cycle across the whole island, and most of all Onishi was the best host. She was able to make us restaurant reservations, allowed us to check out late, and even drove us to the airport.
