It was such a beautiful place! Rooms were very comfortable and had an amazing traditional Japanese vibe. The common room was spacious and looked out into the garden. Don't let the location scare you off!

Modern and very well maintained. Spacious and very close to Bikan but without the noise and madness of the tourists.

The room was huge and you could adjust the light intensity. The bed was comfortable and adjustable by height etc. The bathtub was spacious and the shower room is Japanese style. I liked that the shower head had a button to start and stop the water. The toilet is very modern even by Japanese standards.

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. It was in a great location, close to the station, downtown & the historic area. It was totally sound proof, spotlessly clean & tastefully decorated. The amenities were of high quality & the snacks provided were generous & varied with a focus on local produce. Lastly, the staff were delightful & were truly committed to providing an excellent service. It was a truly memorable stay in Kurashiki.

Everything was fantastic! The staff was very welcoming and kind to us. The accomodation is beautiful, cosy and very comfortable! This is a typical ancient Japanese house. Perfect to stay to discover the lovely city of Kurashiki and the surroundings. The train station is only 10 mins walks.

The facilities were exceptional with a nice LARGE bath, plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen. Owner was very caring and filled the fridge with delicious local food, including the legendary Okayama Pione grape. Will come again next time we need to stay at Okayama!

e had a wonderful stay here. What a fantastic house and in the most wonderful location. Everything had been thought of. The only tiniest criticism was that the breakfast they kindly provided was not really edible. The fruit was perfect but the croissant were horrible. It would be better to provide fresh pastries or none at all. But this is a minor thing. The overall experience was fantastic. And you can get a very good cheap breakfast in the City Art Gallery.
