Imagine the Perfect Guesthouse and this is Guesthouse Re-Spect, the best Guesthouse I've ever stayed in and great value for money. The owner has thought about every single little detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The Guesthouse itself is a lovely open-plan spacious building, with excellent social areas and a terrace. The facilities and utilities are extremely high quality and it's obvious no expense has been spared. Free; laundry, use of bikes, tea and very high quality coffee. Electric bikes are very reasonably priced. The owner himself is incredibly friendly and helpful, and will go above and beyond to help you. Sunday nights have a super fun event which is dinner, drinks and plenty of chatting and laughter with the locals. I look forward to staying here again.

My biggest fear was that I would be judged in terms of belonging there, as I have never been to such an exclusive place. In reality, the stay felt like spending time at a friend's place. The staff was very friendly and it was easy to get in touch. During trips it felt like hanging out, and when great things happened (like spotting a sea turtle), genuine excitement was shared. Ken’s house is so beautiful, modern, clean and so much space! Such a luxurious bathtub and bathroom. This place has everything you need incl handy laundry facilities, amazing kitchen and equipment to cook your own meals, and complimentary drinks in the fridge. We loved the little pool. It was warm enough in late May to swim at night looking up at the stars. The quiet residential neighbourhood is nice for a change from the Hirara area. It’s not far to drive to main area. There are 3 restaurants within 3min drive, or about 10min walk. Neighbour across the road was lovely. Cute cats roam the street.
