Stunning mountain area. The onsen was incredible! You are really surrounded by forest. The meals we had were the best food we ate in the country. Real home cooking perfection. The onsen was a delight even in summer.

The place shares my value: sustainable, collaboration, flexible, natural, ... Free onsens, renting equipments, working space, guitare, chimney, starry night, large bed, parking, breakfast, coffee ... Could go on & on with praises. Might be my favorite place I've stayed at since I got to Japan 2 months ago.

This is a beautiful hotel, clean, and with very friendly staff. It has private onsens as well as female and male ones. It's about a 10 min walk from the ski field and 5 mins from the bus station. The rooms are well heated and come with private bathrooms.

We had an exceptional stay at Furusato. The staff were incredibly nice and attentive, the dinner and breakfast were both amazing (both in terms of quality and presentation), the rooms were comfortable, the onsen was good, and we had everything that we could needed and more. The staff even came to find us in the middle of dinner so that we could catch the local lion dancers that happened to come by for the local spring festival.

The place is clean, run by a kind and accomodating host who makes you feel like you are visiting your aunty in country Japan. Meals prepared by the host are hearty and tasty. I enjoyed the semi-outdoor onsen on site bkth nights.
