Best location in the area, the hotel is by the lake, right next to the trail to the famous colorful pond. very close to the entrance of the ski area and hiking road. 2. We arrive at their hotel late and did not reserve dinner. Sadly all the restaurants in the area were closed. Suzuki-san was so kind he gave me and my family each a small dinner of rice with meat and veg to eat, free of charge. He and his wife prepared a very delicious and healthy breakfast for all of us in the morning. His hotel is like a beautiful country home.
