Minamiizu has wonderful surroundings and this property is a convenient place where to start the trips. The owner is nice, there are plenty of facilities in the apartment, and it exceeded my expectations. Buses operate approx. hourly during daytime in both important directions - to Shimoda and cape Irozaki. The buses facilitate convenient transportation to several interesting destinations nearby.

The mini onsen next to the house was an awesome bonus as my kids loved it. A few days prior to arrival, Alex provided a lot of good local information for shopping and onsens that was very helpful. These little details go a long way. Great location and property. Highly recommended!

the staff in Local Local are all so friendly. Ittetsu さん Marikoさんは好い人です We were helping with all useful information. Ittetsu san help us to check our original strawberry picking booking and realized the strawberry farm we booked were out of fresh strawberries since the Kawazu Sakura full bloom the past weekend, and he helped us to book another Strawberry picking farm Baby Berry Farm which is 3 mins drive from Local local. We had the whole farm during our timeslot. Enjoyed the strawberry buffet very much Also it's walking distance to the Aono Kawa where Kawazu Sakura were full blooming during our stay. We had had a great week in Local Local.
