The host is super friendly and very considerate, making us very warmly welcome even before arriving the Goat Base. We have experienced earthquake during our stay and the host would check out to make sure we are safe. The place is as new and equipped with high quality appliances and it has everything you need to stay as your home! It is also very spacious which we have no problem at all with 8 people staying. Location is also very good, 15mins drive from station and is just a short drive to Obuse. You don't have to worry about parking as there is an area in front of the house which can park 4 cars at least. We hope to stay here againg next time and for longer!

The house is amazing, with multiple rooms for a large traveling party. Great shared living spaces for our entire group to hang out. Place is very well-furnished with appliances and everything you could need around the house. Amazing view of the city and the mountains from the balcony. Nice hosts and a cute dog! We had vegetarian diet wishes which were no issue at all. We had a delicious lunch and dinner and a good night sleep in a big room in a quiet area.

The Nagano Tokyu REI hotel was a great homebase to explore Nagano. With easy access from the train station it’s easy to explore and go to the monkey park for example. It’s also a 30 minute walk to the beautiful Zenkoji temple through the picturesque streets. Lots of restaurants and shops around the hotel as well. The staff was very helpful and nice, they propose also a lot of little things like toiletries and tea to take to your room.
