Great space inside. Everything was relatively new and very well kept. The extra dehumidifier in every room. The crockery was lovely. Large bathroom. Very comfortable.

The location is everything!! Amazing view of Mt Fuji. Koyama was so welcoming and informative on our arrival. The fire outside goes out after 2 hours and you can’t refill it. So worth asking about that or keeping it in mind, as we wanted to spend the evening outside but it was cold. The electric blankets did help though. Also, it’s half board but you make the food. We really enjoyed that but worth keeping in mind if you’d rather not. The pillows in one of the bedrooms were very hard and there were no alternatives. Sauna and hot tubs (large baths) were fab. No tea or coffee (unless you’d like to roast the beans yourself), so bring your own. Quite remote. Your own car is advisable.

Such an amazing property! Great comforts right next to the bus stop which runs from the main bus station in the area (buses from Tokyo etc). The ice caves nearby and forest walks make for a great stay here! Huge smart tv for cozy nights in

    The place is very cosy and peaceful. The hosts are wonderful, they were treating their guests like their own family, checking all the time if we needed anything and indulging us with cold tea and coffee. I also recommend the nearest onsen, especially in the evening when it' s not that hot.

    Very friendly owners, felt like coming back home :) We had a nice, japanese style room. Everything was cosy and clean. Wondereful place to stay near mt Fuji for an affordable price.

    The best place to stay in Saiko lake area. Papa and Mama San were amazing hosts. They treated us like family with plenty of tea, coffee and cake! Not to mention, their breakfast is amazing and worth the extra cost. The Japanese style rooms were beautiful and the whole place was cosy. There was an amazing onsen nearby too.

    Delicious breakfast! Well-balanced, vegetables, protein and gut health. Cozy lodge! The owners always made sure our room and hallway are always warm. Our kid loves them!! Very kid-friendly and always made sure our kid was always entertained. It's very close to an onsen and close to Iyashi no Sato Nenba, and Aokigahara Jukai. Communication was great! We will definitely stay here again!
