Very nice and cozy house, everything is well equipped and we are able to wash out clothes and dry it up within a night. The host is very friendly and even bought us some snacks! Worth a stay if you are driving with a group of friends/family.

I travelled with my friend and booked the "Japanese-Style Triple Room with Breakfast and Crab Dinner Included". It was amazing!! We went skiing and snowboarding at San Laiva Ski, a 6-minute walk from Karurusu Onsen Yumoto Orofuresou. After tiring but relaxing skiing, we enjoyed a lovely crab dinner and a hot spring on the lower ground floor. In addition, the window view from our room was incredible. To sum up, Ten-Star Recommended!

The dinner was amazing!! Breakfast was just ok for me. The onsen was also a great place to relax and chill. Had 2 in total. 1 has a open air while the other doesn't. Located in 2 adjacent buildings. The staff will inform you of how to access both of them.

The property had a wonderful location in Date, with plenty of restaurants near by and the station only a 10 minute walk away. The host was incredibly helpful - they recommended us restaurants, things to do and replied very quickly to all our questions. This was one of the most pleasant stays I had over a month in Japan.

The kid loved the swimming pool, which was fitted with a long water slide. The huge onsen, with so many pools, was the main draw for this property and we all enjoyed the experience. It was a stone's throw from Hell's Valley which made it convenient to visit, even at night. There were food options near the hotel, though many were opened during the day only.

There are great varieties of mineral springs and the slide in the kids' swimming pool is fun even for adults. The staff are friendly and approachable. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. The hotel is very near to the other attraction areas like the Hell Valley and Bear Park.

The room is spacious and clean. There is a pool area for children to splash and have fun. There was a drum performance held at night during our stay, which added to the unique experience.

The hotel has an amazingly large onsen area, that is two floors and with an outdoor area that looks at the main tourist attraction - Hell's Valley. It is literally right behind the hotel, and this would be the closest hotel to the attraction. There must be at least 20 onsens you can try within their facility. There is then another floor below all this that houses a nice swimming pool with water slides. The kids had a lot of fun here and we would love to visit again. The buffet options for dinner and breakfast were also very comprehensive.

Very extensive buffet spread at both dinner and breakfast (almost too extensive. I didn't know where to start!). Busy ryokan with lots of guests. It was baby/child-friendly with high chairs, baby-sized yukatas and child-sized yukatas. Close to all the attractions in the area. Range of drinks and shampoo spread at the onsen to choose from.
