Everything exceeded expectations. Spacious, warm, great location at incredible ski slopes, good kitchen and bathroom, comfortable beds. The host was incredible and helped us with everything. We couldn’t have wished for more.

We recently stayed at this beautiful mountain cabin with our family and had a fantastic time. The cabin was very cozy and welcoming, with a lovely attic that our 6-year-old daughters absolutely loved. The rooms were simple but had everything we needed, including tissue boxes in each room. The bathrooms were clean and well-equipped, and we particularly enjoyed the large wooden-clad bathroom. The kitchen was amazing and had all the equipment we needed, including cutlery, dishware and cookware, and also salt, pepper, olive oil, soy sauce and other cooking items. It was also quite spacious and had an XXL European-style dishwasher, which meant we only had to run it once every two days. The dining table was huge and ideal for families or groups of up to 7-8 friends. The living room had several sofas, a bookshelf with board games and some books (in English), and a very large flat-screen TV with streaming services like Netflix. Despite the cabin being located in the middle of the snow, the heating worked perfectly, and we always felt comfortable. There was also a wood-burning stove in the living room, although we didn't get to use it. The beds were comfortable and warm, and the Wi-Fi worked well, although it did fail one day. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and when we reported the Wi-Fi issue, he came over immediately to fix it. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He picked us up from the train station and accompanied us to the supermarket to buy somre groceries. After check-out, he also took us to send our luggage and accompanied us back to the train station. He even lent us a car while we stayed, which we used to go to a ski resort for a day. Although the cabin was not cheap, we found that the quality-price ratio was good. We highly recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain getaway with family or friends.

The location is fantastic, right across the road from the ski slopes. The hosts were so kind and accommodating (we were able to hire our ski gear and buy lift passes through them & they kindly drove our luggage to the bus stop for us when we were departing), the breakfasts were delicious, the facilities were very clean and we appreciated the washer and dryer facilities. Thank you so much!

We were the only guests at the pension, but we were still taken care of amazingly. Our room was clean, comfortable beds, bathroom was small but the Onsen was ready to use so we did not need the bathroom. Dinner and breakfast were amazing as well. We were picked up at the trajn station. And bells were available during our hike to scare away the bears.

Pretty much everything! The staffs were super helpful, really put in a lot of effort to make it a perfect home. Location wise is perfect for skiing in Norikuta, 5 mins walk to the Alps hotel(bus stop) & ski lift, two onsens nearby The bed is big enough for a comfortable stay and the blanket feels so warm. Enough shower rooms for everyone. I love spending time in the dining area just to watch the snow falling. The vibe is just nice, feels like a dream.

Room was fabulous- clean, spacious, cozy. Gentleman at the front helped with all my questions Was my first experience with onsen, all instructions listed in English. Had a selection of different shampoo/conditioners to use. Location was easy to find, close to the bus station and ski hill

Great facilities and amenities, bit old school The Shining vibes but nice and clean

I booked the place in the last mins before my ski trip starts, luckily the lodge just made itself available via booking, therefore I booked in no time, the good part of this place is location location and location, only 3 mins walk to the lift, near by restaurant is within 3 mins to 5 mins walk too, grocery store. So easily to start your ski - eat - sleep cycle. Other facilities, such as common rest and dining area, common hot room, shower area are quite standard, room aircon is strong and effective. Staffs are also nice and friendly, they love snow too, know the mountain quite well. Overall, If you have a picky wife, this is not the place for you, if you are single or with ur buddy who likes ski day after day with non stop powder then this is the place for you.

Ski out from building to chairlifts. Great communal space for dining. Guests welcome. Toilets were clean. Staff were amazing. Rooms small but comfortable and light.
