A tranquil place in the middle of savanna with magnificent views on Kilimanjaro, birds singing since early morning on acacia trees and amazing people who make this please special and take care of you like of their own friends. We arrived in Emali and were picked up by a taxi and brought directly to the camping. We booked four nights in a tent but as we had no car and our backpacks would probably not fit in a tent, we had to change for a house (additionally paid). This place is very safe, surrounded by an electric fence, gate closed for the night and security (Sam) is always there for you. Brian (Lerionka) is a great host (he together with Sam and my husband organized beautiful birthday for me), an awesome cook (his food was delicious) and tour guide - he knows so much about the nature and enjoys sharing his passions with guests. We went on one-day Safari in Amboseli organized by Brian with a guide Isak (very competent guide with years of experience, highly recommended), walking tour (spotting zebras) on savanna next to the camping, hiking on foothill of Kili and even a cooking lesson with Brian. If you would like to relax, spend time in nature, enjoy the views of top of Kilimanjaro and get an authentic experience in Kimana and Oloitokitok, you should definitely stay longer than 2 nights. Everything is great in this camp! Location. The camp is not inside the park, so you don't have to pay extra to enter the park to stay at the camp. It's a 10-15 minute drive to the main gate. It's located in a quiet, beautiful place surrounded by acacias. Right opposite the camp's observation deck there is a water hole where wild animals come all day long: zebras, antelopes, warthogs, giraffes and elephants! One day during lunch, Craig the elephant even came here - one of the last representatives of his species. A "super-tusker" elephant with tusks weighing over 50 kg each, and perhaps one of the most famous elephants alive today. And all this with a view of the majestic Kilimanjaro. Food. Everything was always very tasty. Many thanks to the chef! Staff. It was nice to talk to everyone, everyone can tell you a lot of interesting facts about the local animals. We were also very pleased with the walk with giraffes and zebras, the guide services on the safari, which were organized for us in the camp. Many thanks to the whole camp team. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Wilson and the other guys were very nice, they helped us so much with everything starting with how to get to their place from Nairobi, finding the right Matatu and they sent us a Boda Boda (motorbike pickup) and organized our two game drives which were great! The place is very calm and located in the middle of local villages with many farms, goats and cows around. The hotel area was very nice with a lovely garden and each hut has it's own little veranda with a view at Mt. Kilimanjaro (when its not too foggy). After dinner we enjoyed a nice fire and had a great conversation with the guys and were petting the lovely dogs (Morio - we miss you!)

The staff were very friendy, helpful and kind. We had a nice stay at little amanya camp. We recommand this place. The view of the Kilimandjaro is breathtaking.

Located at the Amboseli National Park, this lodge is 20 km away from Amboseli Airstrip and a 30-minute flight from Nairobi. It offers an outdoor pool and restaurant.

The property is in a very good location only a short drive from the park gate. The cottage we stayed in was huge and had good hot water as well as a small balcony. The cheetah bar was a great place to have a beer after a long hot day and wifi was good there. The food was self -serve buffet style with lots of options. However, best of all we accidentally forgot our jacket when we left which had our house keys in it! Our driver called the manager who not only found the jacket but got it sent back to Nairobi for us.
