The ambience and the service were top notch, such a cozy and beautiful unit!

The host Julie was wonderful, and very accommodating considering I had requested to drop off my luggage earlier than my check in time. She was also very easy to reach in case I needed anything. The unit is air conditioned, and peaceful, no noisy or rowdy neighbours.The road to the apartment is in good condition since it also serves Pride Inn hotel nearby. The area is also safe with 24hr security. Boda boda and tuk tuks are easily available which is a plus for solo travellers. All in all a great place to stay on a budget, great value for money.

The beautifully decorated house is in a nice location with a great view of the marina. Nestled between some private properties and the renowned Mtwapa Marina. It’s the perfect place to go relax and recharge. Cleaned every day for us. (One can choose alternate days too) , the house was an immaculate home away from home. The private pool and jacuzzi was an awesome welcome especially in the sweltering Mombasa heat. Getting a chef for meal prep was ideal as you concentrate on your Rest, Recharge, Recovery and Relaxation 😎 The entire team made sure that we had a great time. We have found our home in Mtwapa. ❤️

The apartment was absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view and plenty of space. The bedrooms were beautifully designed, and the swings on the balcony were a perfect touch for relaxing. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, making it easy to cook or prepare meals.The cleaning lady, Caro, was incredibly helpful and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed. The owner of the apartment, Nana, went above and beyond to assist with anything, from arranging taxis to recommending the best restaurants and ensuring I had help with anything I required.This apartment truly exceeded my expectations it was beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. It’s officially my go-to holiday destination whenever I visit Mombasa. I can’t wait to return.

The staff was attentive, professional, friendly, helpful and attentive. The property and grounds were picturesque. The grounds were very well kept. The details of everything is something to see. The fresh fruit and food was delicious. There were many good vegan, vegetarian options to choose from, which was helpful because I am a vegan. My husband enjoyed the meat options. The various amounts of drink options were also appreciated. Our visit to beautiful Mombasa, Kenya was an experience and our stay at Serena Beach Resort & Spa was an experience just in itself. I don't even think we had walked the entire compound as there were several areas for restaurants, activities, wine/cocktail bar/poolside bar seating and other multi-purpose seating areas. The steps that led us to the beautiful bech held even more opportunities to enjoy water activities, ride a catamaran boat out to feed and swim with the fish (look for Ali because he was wonderful), take photos with the camels, get your name carved in wood, and shop at the local pop up on the beach- so bring some Kenyan shilling. We got lucky and played football with the local young kids on the beach! It rained more than usual so we weren't able to hop on the jet skis this time. We truly loved every minute of my stay and have aspirations to return again someday. I am highly recommending Serena Beach Resort & Spa to anyone who is going to stay in Mombasa, Kenya. I am also recommending Kenya in general because it was a beautiful place with beautiful people. Thank you all so much for an unforgettably amazing trip! Asanti San!
