Saro and his family are lovely people and they were excellent hosts. We had delicious dinners with them and Saro organized brilliant tours in the area, where there’s a lot to see! Our kids spent the days playing with the children of the family and didn’t want to leave in the end. Gorgeous bamboo hut in the garden of Savet’s family home with lots of fans, mosquito net and very clean private bathroom. Everyone in Savet’s family was so welcoming and so much fun! His wife’s cooking is delicious :) The bike tour was a lovely activity and it was so nice to be in such a local village away from tourists. Perfect AC, very clean, big closet to store your clothes and a great warm shower. The family who run the homestay are the best, we felt very seen. They arranged a tour for us a few hours in advance with one of the best tourguides we had in 4 months. Food options (breakfast, lunch, diner) were very affordable and delicious. They had interconnecting rooms for our family of 5. The property and the pool were well maintained. Kids really enjoyed the pool. Staff were very helpful. Really liked that they provided water in reusable bottles and had an easily accessible refill option. Breakfasts were huge. We loved our time at the homestay and would definitely come again. Great location near to the caves. Saro is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. His wife is a very good cook and we enjoyed all of the meals at the homestay. The children are very sweet and the family is very welcoming as a whole. On our last day we had some drinks and karaoke in the sun with Saros family and some friends, so much fun.
