Stunning villa with great architecture ! The villa has a great location with easy access to the beach and just 10 mins away from Galle fort.. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, the villa was very clean and of exceptional standard. In addition the food was amazing, we had Sri Lankan food as well as more Western cuisines and it was probably the best food I had during my trip to Sri Lanka. Most importantly the rooms were spacious and clean and had great views overlooking the beach . Really enjoyed my stay at Candella House.

In a quiet location but only 10 mins from the beach, with lovely grounds. Accommodation is beautifully designed and carefully thought out. Danaith, our host was most welcoming and was available to help with transport and any other questions. Great breakfasts and Danaith not only arranged a massage for us, him and his wife cooked us a fantastic meal one evening. Highly recommended.

Firstly the family running the hotel is just amazing! They are friendly, accommodating and just lovely! Secondly, The location blew my mind every morning, the blue waters and views was just exceptional! Thirdly, the food that was made to order was simply delicious and the portions are huge, the special mango was also amazing! Dana surf school nearby is also a great day trip and the turtles at turtle beach was so awesome to see!!

The interior design is beautiful. Every room was meticulously designed, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the view of the lush gardens and pool felt like a dream. The staff were beyond amazing — thoughtful, professional, and always going above and beyond to make sure our stay was flawless. From the delicious meal (we took the breakfast but now wish we’d had more meals there) to the little touches throughout the day, everything was handled with grace and genuine care. Perfect Family Getaway!” We stayed as a family of four with two kids, and my brother’s kids joined us too – they absolutely loved their time here! Unfortunately, we could only stay one night, but next time we visit Galle or Ahangama, we’ll definitely book for a longer stay. The value for money is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly supportive and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised because we had seen a few negative reviews, but our experience was the complete opposite – even the linens were brand new and spotless! This place truly exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back again.

Nirocha and her family were adorable and very attentive to us, she advised us on visits and even negotiated for us a long distance taxi or the making of a piece of jewelry by a local jeweler at a very attractive price and a workmanship  very well done.  Located on the seafront with a natural swimming pool at the foot of the hotel.  There are even some kinds of bathtubs that have been dug into the reef.  The restaurant was excellent and plentiful as was the breakfast (sri lankan for us but they also provide continentale ones).  There are 5 rooms, we had one of the two upper rooms equipped with air conditioning and WiFi.  A king size four-poster bed with mosquito net.  Really a very nice surprise especially for the human quality of Nirocha and his whole family.  Thank you for this great stay. .
