Location in the middle of the old kasbah, a lot of locals, mostly kids around. Great hospitality and good breakfast. The room is simple but comfortable enough.

Superb location! We hired a guide to take us on a hike (3.5 hours) around the area and it was fun and challenging, a highlight of our trip to Morocco. Dinner at the hotel was good, a nice change from the usual tagine.

Excellent location, super friendly staff who visibly get along with each other, which creates a fun vibe. We don’t often eat at hotel restaurants, but here we had dinner all three nights. Breakfast is also fresh and plenty full. Highly recommend the cave-rooms.

The location of this Auberge is so so good: its in the middle of nowhere, very surreal to wake up at. There is a 'family dinner' during the night where they play the djembe and we did the hike after lovely breakfast. One day here is enough. Make sure you arrive before sunset as it is completely dark.

Basic & affordable accommodation in a very laid back atmosphere. 10 mins walk to the gorge and don't forget to take a tour of the village. We had a lovely stay incl a welcome tea on the rooftop terrace.

The night we had at auberge le festival has been the highlight of our trip to morocco. Very Remote and beautifull location and the family who lives there are the best hosts. The dinner was very good and they played music at night which was a fantastic experience. We had a Cave room which was surprisingly temperate despite it being winter.

Amazing location in the middle of the gorge. Beautiful surroundings and buildings. Spacious room with hot water at night. Dinner and breakfast were superb, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Have stayed here before 11 years ago and it is still just as good as it was before, they keep the place up well! Had fun playing music with the staff at night: this was actually fun and not forced fun. Amin especially was super kind.

A stylish hotel in a remote location, far up the Todra Gorge. We had one of the funky cave rooms - cool in the day, warm at night - decorated with lovely traditional rugs and a great wash basin carved out of polished stone complete with fossils. There's a terrace outside the rooms where you can enjoy a pre-dinner drink. A decent dinner and they serve wine, plus after-dinner musical entertainment and dancing.

The price was good and you get what you pay for. The owner was friendly and helpful. The view from the rooftop is amazing, must be the best in the valley- definitely go up there for sunsets if possible. I found it fun to wander on the narrow streets trying to find the way home. The cappuccino in the morning was also really well prepared (now if they only managed to get some really good quality coffee beans..)
