    Antonio was such a great host! We had few expectations with this booking because we expected the room to be small for our family and at this price, we didn't expect much. We were pleasantly surprised! Antonio attended to all our needs and more. . This quiet little place has a nice kitsch side to it that makes it even more enjoyable. We appreciated having the small private bathroom and also access to the larger (funny!) shared one.

    Rachid is just the most amazing person ever. It felt like staying at a friend's place. He has created a piece of heaven where you reconnect with nature and with yourself. It's a great place to come with kids. they have tons of things to discover and animals to play with. And Rachid is very good with children. They really loved him from the start. Food was also amazing!

    I had a really nice stay here and Otman was very helpful. The views from the rooftop while having breakfast were lovely. The breakfast was lovely, the soft cheese, mint tea and olive oil were delicious. The facilities are basic but are fine for a short stay. The location may not be ideal for families with young children.

    Surprisingly excellent accommodation, great value, comfortable and new, very nice and hospitable people. Peaceful location with amazing views of the town. Extremely child friendly. Would certainly stay longer if we had more time. They provided us with complementary laundry, transport, great advice.

    The staff are absolutely incredible. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, even when we asked for a bit too much mint tea. We were nervous about our first trip as a family with our 8 month old baby but our time in chefchaouen was heaven due to the hospitality of Dar Elrio. Yessin and his colleagues were all very accommodating, kind and made us feel at home. Breakfast was so healthy and delicious as well, and they kindly agreed to clean my baby’s food pots too.

    Very nicely decorated and clean small Riad with a fantastic view of the city. The friendliness and service of the staff was exceptional. The breakfast was of good quality and varied and was served on the rooftop terrace or glass pavilion with magnificent views of the city and surrounding mountains. Our family room for 4 persons was very nicely decorated in an authentic style and was equipped with a well-functioning air condition.

    1- Location is at the entrance of the old Medina. Very convenient if you have kids (with a lot of stuff to carry!) 2- Professional, responsive host 3- Value for money 4- Great for a family with kids. This is my second time at this property. I first discovered it in 2019 and happy to be a repeat customer!
