The property is set on its own in the brush between rolling hills. It’s run by a charming family who also grow their own vegetables and raise their own chickens (which they use to make delicious food). There is a lovely pool to cool down in after the long drive.

The owner built the house himself. He was very welcoming, super interesting to talk to as is both well read and well travelled. You stay in a traditional Berber home with the family with meals served on site. Currently they are busy constructing a large restaurant next to the house which has stunning views! An ideal wedding reception venue!

Perfect for one night when on the road; "Chalet" = small house with two bedrooms and small integrated kitchen, suitable for solo travellers, friends or families. A swimming pool is also available. I was very well received by all staff, who made efforts to make my stay as good as possible. The restaurant that is part of the complex is also very nice and the food was clearly above expectations.

The building has about four similar appartements. We tried two of them when went to and came back from Merzouga. Both of them are well equipped. The first stay was perfect. People were nice. Only my family stayed in the building. And only a bit noise from the passing cars in the night. It’s acceptable since not many cars nearby. A plus, a nice pizza restaurant within walk distance about 7 minutes.

Very welcoming family

Really spacious apartment perfect for our family of four en-route to Merzouga! We had a lovely evening in Midelt as well watching a beautiful sunset - we didn’t really have any expectations and found ourselves pleasantly surprised with the hustle and bustle of the town! Would highly recommend this apartment!

Mustafa and his beautiful family were wonderful hosts. The kasbah which was designed and built by Mustafa is very characterful and charming. Beautiful garden with panoramic views of the surrounding valley and the mountains. The food was delicious and they even went the extra mile to cater for our toddler. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Mustafa is a man with a vision and supports the local community through initiatives like employing widowed women who do not have an income.

The host Mustafa and his family were very welcoming when we arrived and during our 1 night stay. We were the only guests that night, so it was amazing they still made us a delicious and authenthic berber diner. We appreciate the many nice conversations with Mustafa. Also the surrounding area with many plants and fruit trees is gorgeous. Don't hestitate to book this place, it is better than you could imagine!

Staff very friendly and kind to our young toddler. An entire apartment for us, very clean and spacious. The bathroom has a good size. The kitchen has all the gear. Free car parking. We were presented with some fruit and water on arrival. The area is very quiet and isolated. Well placed for a stop before the desert. It has a big restaurant nearby serving very good food. The breakfast is also served at the same place and very food rich.
