All the meals are served fresh, on time and with lots of options to be honest. For dinner, you would have a signature meal served by the chef himself and as well two stations with freshly prepared dishes of your choice be it a grill or pasta and salad station. Breakfast is continental with lots of fresh fruits (seasonal) and freshly baked breads. Lunch we just ate as we go :) But also nice options all over. And yeah I did have lots of cocktails - Shout out to the barmen and ladies.

lovely beach and lagoon. Enjoyed kayak, pedallo and tube. Perfect swimming pool. We ate at Mondo restaurant, Royce street and Duck laundry. Food was excellent everywhere.

We were pleasantly surprised with the attention to detail. All the little extra surprises were great to find. Bed was comfortable and the pool a delight. The owner arranged a great boat trip for us to Ile Aux Cerf and we even hired a car from him for the whole vacation. They made us feel so welcome. He also arranged for us to have an authentic Mauritius dinner. His wife even helped remove sea urchin pieces in my foot. Overall a great stay. Hope to return again soon

A very cozy and friendly small family hotel. The rooms have everything you need. Good breakfast. But it’s better to come by rented car, since the town is not big and apart from a beach holiday, there is nothing else to do.

The apartment is very nice, well fitted with everything you might need, clean. Location is on the main road and easy to find. But the best thing is the care and kindness Kerstin is putting into making your stay a memorable one. She made reservations for boat trip, restaurants every night we spent there, kindly offered to call the airport for our lost luggage. The only thing I regret is not knowing that her husband is a Romanian foodie - we would have brought him some supplies. So, shoutout to all Romanians going there: bring over some polenta flour / mălai and goat cheese and you will make a guy happy very easily.

Rajesh is an optimal host! He was very welcoming and helped where he could. He helped us book a boat tour to the falls and to Ile aux Cerfs with lunch which was very good. One of the nicest beaches is about 18min drive (in Trou d'eau Douce). The apartment was spacious and clean, we had all the equipment we needed and if we needed anything else Rajesh or his wife were there to help. It's set in a beautiful environment near the river with lots of greenery. There's running hot water, comfy beds, a nice and huge terrace and a lively bird life to watch from the terrace. The aircon is new and working quietly and effectively (in the bedroom). I think a big advantage Rajesh is offering is free pickup/dropoff from/to the airport + he has a car rental company to offer cars at a reasonable price.

The property is located in a great spot- it is incredibly comfortable and the host Annalisa really is fantastic; she gave us the best advice on local food spots, getting taxis and even hiring a car! I definitely would recommend staying at La Maison soleil as it is a gem on the east coast of Mauritius!
