It is a very good place to stay. We liked it very much and we had a great time here. There are many things to see and Meema is a very good host. She also gives information about many things. The host is also a famous singer. He is called Guruji and he teaches many children about Tabla and music. He himself lives in South Africa, but his house is here. It was very nice to meet everyone and it felt like home. That is why we liked this place very much. We want other people to come and stay here too.

Shanti Nivas is the place in Mauritius. A couple of minutes driving from the wonderful beaches of Belle Mare and Palmer beach, this is a great place to enjoy the best of Mauritius in a far more economic way. We had a spacious bedroom with private bathroom and a little kitchen where we could cook our own meals, But Shanti Nivas is a lot more than just a place to stay, this is a place where you feel like home. The host, Mr. jay is a one of a kind master host. He does everything to make you feel at home, and soon he became a friend. Don't expect a 5 stars resort by 1/10 of the price you pay for it in Mauritius, but you can certainly expect a 10 times better service. Thanks Jay, you're the man and you have built a quite unique concept in Mauritius by allowing everyone to have the possibility of visit the wonderful Mauritius with a limited budged. I cannot recommend enough your place to anyone who always dreamed to visit Mauritius but couldn't afford the extremely expensive hotels.

I had an incredible stay at Ocean Terraces, located right on the beach with stunning views. The penthouse is well-appointed with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a rooftop jacuzzi. Architecture, layout and landscaping of the resort. Relaxing atmosphere all over the hotel. Great pools and beach. The entire staff was very attentive and super responsive to all requests. Food was great at all restaurants that we tried.
