A beautiful designed hotel, it feels like home. Loved just to sit on the sofa, having a beer and looking at the beautiful garden. Very good neighbourhood, calm and peaceful. The room is spacious, the bed is super comfortable and we enjoyed watching Netflix on the big TV. Also the food must be mentioned, we had delicious meals as well. Thanks to all the staff making our stay memorable!

I liked this lodge it is really nice and peaceful for family. Our host, Tamanya, is very kind and friendly. When we have some issues, she is ready to help it out. For myself to cook is really comfortable and Yasin and Alik these staff guys are really quiet and polite. Security is very safe. When we come to Lilongwe, we directly come here. But I am afraid after my review it will be full of all spaces when I come here.😄😄 But I wanted more enjoy from place for barbique and swimming pool. Our next coming, I will do that. Thank you for all guys here and for the owner to build like that building in Lilongwe.

The cottage is a homely, warm and cozy apartment. It is much more appealing than it looks on pictures. The owners are very professional, welcoming and always on hand if you need anything. I will most certainly call again and I would recommend the cottage to anyone traveling to Lilongwe be it on a work trip or vacation.

I write this piece 6 weeks after my visit to Lilongwe and after touring Germany, Bulgaria and Poland. In short, in any of the latter 3 countries I would have had to pay 5 to 6 times more than I did in Lilongwe, if i wanted to enjoy service, space, comfort and peace remotely equivalent to the Burley House experience. Apart from enjoying a comfortable room with good WiFi, international TV (we watched the IPL and ATP tennis), wonderful meals and an incredible garden, what stands out at Burley House is the incredible warmth of the staff. This is not surprising as it is, after all, Malawi.

    We have been talking about this, because we would return without hesitation. The welcome is as good as anywhere I have ever stayed – it is small and it has the feel of a family home. Nothing is too much trouble. Everything is done with a smile, and the staff will universally go the extra mile. Our laundry was donedaily, and when the vegetarian asked for a different main course, it was willingly provided. The honesty bar is a pleasure – and whoever chooses the Wine knows what they’re doing. You will enjoy it here.

    I liked that the apartment is large with 4 bedrooms. It has a washer and a clothes drier as well as enough utensils and appliances in the kitchen. I loved this apartment, i will definitely be back. It had everything we needed as a family with 3 kids.

    Located very close to Airport (about 30 mnts drive ) We‘d love to stay more. We had a great welcome and were escorted to the room. The hotel has two family friendly pools a restaurant which offers a continental range. We were astonished by the presentation of our dishes and the taste of them. The staff was attentive to make our stay a highly memorable one. Highly recommended this place.

    Only stayed one day; however watching the animals at play was great; service good; down the road from the wildlife centre. Lilongwe is very spread out so will need taxi to visit attractions. The food was very good and affordable.
