A perfect place for a getaway! The unit is located so close to Kek Lok Si Temple—just a 3-minute walk using the host’s shortcut tip. The Ayer Itam wet market is also nearby, offering plenty of food options from early morning to evening. The host was friendly and attentive, and the check-in process was seamless. We took a walk to have breakfast after checking out, but before leaving with our car. It was about to start raining and the receptionist kindly offered a hotel umbrella to take with us.

They did a fantastic job of restoring the Blue Mansion. The entire property is gorgeous. Our room was clean and spacious with a comfortable King bed, and well appointed period furnishings. It felt so special to be in such a historic place and the staff were friendly and helpful. They served breakfast in the courtyard with made to order offerings (the pancake with salted coconut and burnt sugar sauce was excellent). We also loved listening to the guzheng performance in the courtyard during the evening. The only regret was we managed to only book one night(it was fully booked).

It was very central, so easy to walk everywhere and I enjoyed the older architecture. The staff was incredibly helpful, allowing us to check in a couple hours early and giving us great suggestions on what to experience. I appreciated the ease of communication through WhatsApp, sending check-in instructions the day before and being available anytime during the stay if we had questions.

Lovely renovated property in an excellent location - near the main tourist areas but in an area retaining a lot of local character. The self check-in and doors that use a PIN code instead of a card were really handy.
