This place was absolutely amazing, beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly quiet. Nestled deep in the jungle, it offers a true connection with nature. Exotic birds visit daily, and monkeys stop by, yet you still get the silence and serenity you might be looking for. It is so remote that you will need at least a scooter to get snacks, drinks, and other essentials. It is very private, so it has to be remote enough, but the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable, so you might not even need to leave, though you definitely should, at least to explore. Each morning, you will be treated to a lovely breakfast with an amazing cup of coffee. I have been told that the main beach access has been closed by the owner, but do not worry, the staff has a secret ace up their sleeve. Just five minutes from the villas, there is a hidden private beach where you can have the entire place to yourself. Since this place is in the middle of the jungle, it requires constant maintenance. It is more like an ongoing repair cycle—by the time you finish repairing from point A to point Z, points A to D already need fixing again. That is just the nature of it, and honestly, there is nothing the owner could have done better than keeping up with this never-ending cycle of maintenance. Now, the best part of my stay was the people. I do not even want to call them staff because they are so much more than that. I would rather call them the Host-Family because they treat you like a long-lost relative visiting from abroad. They are the true highlight of this place, even more than the villas themselves. They completely respect your privacy, but if you are open to conversations, you will quickly see how warm and hospitable they truly are. Their kindness and interactions will make your stay unforgettable. Thank you all for these truly beautiful days. I will not provide names since I do not know if they would be okay with it, but you know who you are.

Far exceeded our dreams and expectations… it truly is paradise found and terrific value. The property is a collection of 4 private villas/rooms designed by the same architects behind the world famous Datai hotel that shares the same private, idyllic Datai beach. The small infinity pool is a dream. The family of 3 staff who run it and live onsite couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly - Kenneth, Crisha and Jenny, we salute you and thank you. Kayaks can be hired and Kenneth can help you access the beautifully clean beach and inviting sea (a couple of minute drive or 15 mins walk). We were celebrating my husbands birthday during our stay and Crisha very kindly made a birthday cake - honestly.., this place is amazing… wish we could’ve stayed longer!

This is the most beautiful side of the island: nice beaches without jelly fish, beautiful waterfalls Beautiful nature with wildlife Very good scooters to rent : not expensive We advice to do everything with scooter Island is quite small and very easy to discover by scooter! Only 15 ringgit grab to airport

Short, superb stay, and a special thnks to Fazierul- been very patient n helpful, n efficient on his service. Same for the housekeeper lady who cleaned up our room promptly. Sambal for nasi lemak can b improved, not authentic enough. Prices of food is too expensive. Overall very happy wth our stay. Keep up all the good work!

we got upgraded to about room upon arrival and everything throughout our 3- night stay lived up to our expectations. staff was very friendly and greet you all the time while addressing you with your name. cocktails, beach and the restaurants provided excellent food and the room with balcony was a treat. so was the spa. we saw hornbills in the trees in front of our terrace which was the only time we got to see them up close during our Malaysia trip. looking forward to come back to this piece of paradise in the future.

Nanthi and Didi were the most welcoming hosts, friendly and enthusiastic. From the minute we arrived we felt valued and Didi gave us lots of really useful information about things to do, restaurants etc. We hired a scooter from them for two days which made seeing the island so easy. On our last night they organised a minibus to take all the guests with them for a wonderful sunset dinner in a paddy field restaurant. We really felt like family. Breakfasts were simple but delicious, Nanthi's scrambled eggs are fabulous! It may not have the amenities of a larger hotel but who needs that when you have a clean comfortable room and excellent hosts who really care about their guests. Highly recommend!

I liked everything about Ombak Villa. The property is very beautiful and peaceful. It's a very big property and they keep it very clean. The room they clean everyday. For breakfast different varieties of food are very delicious!! I would love to stay here again!!

This resort exceeded all my expectations. I wanted a calming and relaxing retreat, and this place gives me more than that. I love waking up to see the sea and the sound of waves that accompanied me to sleep and waking up is just zen. With breathtaking view daily, i honestly love the peace and quiet that the resort gives. The staffs are very accomodating and super nice and friendly. Every query is assisted and i never felt lost during my stay. Either through phone or text messages - the service is very top notch. Would i come again? Definitely yes! Thank you for having us! ❤️
