Staying at Baia Sonambula was outstanding. The room (#1) I stayed in was magnificant. The staff was lovely and overdelivered. They went above and beyond during my stay. I highly recommend staying here. It is close to the beach - roughly a 10 second walk. The views from breakfast were breathtaking. I can't wait to come back and bring my friends and family

What a find! CozyBe has new, beautiful villas tucked back on a quiet street just a short walk from the beach. There are only a few apartments and they are very well done. Modern and clean with AC. The moved us to a larger room with a big king bed + twin bed (as we were traveling with our daughter) and there was a small kitchen attached. You could actually add a 2nd bedroom to this to sleep 5 (the other room was locked off). Fernando was the most excellent host! Helpful and kind, he is the best. You can access the beach from the Kumba lodge which is just short walk from their place, which is then about a 15 minute walk to the edge of town. Fernando mentioned they have been very slow as they are relatively new. Stay here, you won't be disappointed for the price.

I can’t say enough fantastic things about this place. The sea view rooms not only offer beautiful vistas but with the sliders open you can hear the waves. The staff that greet you each day are top notch treating you like family and offering assistance with whatever you need. There is an on sight restaurant and bar for times you don’t want to venture out but plenty of other delicious options within a short walk. Market and beach less than a 5 minute walk. This place has thought of everything, even providing chairs and canopy free for guests. Just ask during your included (yummy) breakfast and they will set everything up while you are brushing your teeth. If you catch fresh fish (we didn’t) the kitchen staff with prepare it for your evening dinner. Casa do Mar is a bit more expensive but totally worth every penny.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom house and it was very spacious! 3 large king beds + 2 twins, great for a big group or family. The living area also had a nice area to hang out. It was very private and quiet. There is no AC, but big fans above each bed which was great. The entire house has screened windows. The restaurant overlooks the ocean and is a great place to hang out and relax, there are a few hammocks and also a kid's playground and small dip pool. The food was great, we appreciated the variety and enjoyed things like the Thai curry. Everything is prepared fresh, so it takes time, but we liked that. The ocean in front of the resort is great as the rocks create a small shallow lagoon. Perfect for kids. The resort is very family friendly. There is even a gym for a workout! Sam was one of the many friendly staff members who took great care of us. He drove us to/from town and helped us organize a tour. Rides to/from town during normal hours are 500 mets, but they will drive you to the Kumba Lodge for free. We walked to town many times along the beach which was beautiful, it is a 30 minute walk from the resort to the edge of town (Liquid Divers building) via the beach. Overall we had a great stay!
