Do to the high waters of the Okavango river we were fortunate and received an upgrade to the lodge at no extra cost. Due to the road to the lodge being closed of, we were transported to and from the lodge by boat which was fabulous.

    I was most impressed by the attentiveness of the staff. Early morning, I enquired about advice on how to make a brief visit to the Angolan side of the border - and was accompanied by a member of staff who showed me around in Calai, the sister town of Rundu in Angola. for more than two hours. I have never experienced such service. (Note that Angola has in early 2024 allowed 90 more passports visa-free entry.). Otherwise, the setting is extremely pleasant. Stayed in two family rooms, which were spacious with a nice style.

    Breakfast was good. It was not easy to get to the place, signboard would help. One of the bedside lamp was not functional. Consider having pillow protectors on the pillows. A small table in the room would be ideal. Water is life, conserve it by fixing water leaks in the shower. Have a soap holder in the shower since the shower gel container is empty.

    The surroundings and gardens is beautiful. The bedroom and bathroom is neat. The breakfast was GREAT and the employees was very friendly. Kids enjoyed exploring and playing in the garden.

    Lovely old cottages with everything you needed including a hair dryer, fridge and dstv. Price was very affordable and food was just right amount.

    Accommodations were comfortable, and had everything we needed, The food was basic but nice, and a good portion, they made a great effort to Accommodating the kids food needs, the breakfast was fantastic and filling.
