A big 10 + for everything. The spacious tent, beautifully located in the most scenic landscape. With very comfy beds and a very short walk or drive from the lodge. The pools and the restaurant at the lodge are excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpfull. Higly recommended as a place to stay near Sossusvlei.

Absolutely superb experience- our tented home opened every morning to a stunning African savanna vista. We had a waterhole on our doorstep, where we were able to see wild horses frolicking as the sunset. Sunrise, sunset and the sky of stars are something to behold. Camp Gecko provides a quiet space to absorb the beauty of Africa and Namibian. It is close enough to Solitaire, your one dtoo for all but also far enough to truly experience the African bush. Staff were amazing and their varied braai packs were greatly appreciated. A cannot recommend Camp Gecko enough. We will be back.

Woow, à beautiful very modern Lodge in the desert. A perfect bungalow, very modern and luxurious. The breakfast and Dinner buffet was okay, but for a 5* Lodge somewhat disappointing. The staff was not really friendly like we experienced it at other Lodge. Maybe a touch too modern in the middle of the desert? However, the sundowner drive was very interesting and we had a very good guide who explained everything about the nature and the region.

Set in Solitaire, Desert Whisper offers accommodation with a private pool, a balcony and pool views. Guests can benefit from a patio and an outdoor fireplace.

Really cool place to stay, we regret to book only one night their. The camp was really quiet with an amazing sunset.

The lodge is strategically located, less than 1h drive from Sessriem, on the outskirt of a mountain in a very nice position. The rooms are modern, super clean and spacious, sorrounded by a green garden with many trees. The common areas are equally well equipped, clean and well maintained. The breakfast provides a large number of choices for food. The value for money of the dinner is extremely advantagious.

Solitaire Mountain Lodge offers views of the Namib Desert and the Naukluft Mountains. It features 1 outdoor pool, a garden and a restaurant.

Such a beautiful and relaxing place to spend a couple of days. We made good use of the pool on two rather hot days. Thomas was particularly kind and helpful.

The location was absolutely beautiful, amazing scenery! Rooms were comfortable and just perfect, well stocked with everything you may need for self-catering. Owners are very friendly and helpful and are on hand for any enquiries about the area.

We had an amazing stay here. When we arrived we actually got upgraded into the Namib Naukluft Lodge, which is just around the corner and has the same owners. Staff was absolutely wonderful and super helpful. Dinner was superb and very healthy. Eating under the stars in absolute quiet and tranquility was an amazing experience!
