This is absolutely one of the best lodgings we stayed at in New Zealand! The host, Julie, is absolutely warm, helpful and friendly. She stated that the lodge is 'her baby' and it shows. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds we've ever had and the room was furnished with such care and class.

    Beautiful location and relaxing place. Johnny is a great host and the cottage worked well for us with 3 grandchildren. Johnny took us on a tour of the farm in his ute and explained some of his plans. The kids loved helping groom the horses, and feeding them apples. The cats and puppy were a big hit too. Great water pressure and temperature control in the shower. Thanks Johnny

    Location was excellent and easy to find, staff was friendly, all facilities so clean and comfortable. I was especially appreciative of the blackout curtains, and the cleanliness of the entire facility. Beach access was brilliant as was the wonderful playground next door to the property, so fabulous for families with children.
