‏+ The camp was in a fantastic location in the desert completely surrounded by dunes. The tents were extremely comfortable as were the beds. I slept like a baby. The outside toilets/showers were whopped you would expect from camping experience but perfectly usable and not a problem. The camp itself was very spacious and the tents were located some distance away from each other giving that feeling of isolation to some degree. The staff organised a variety of different activities which looked to be at a reasonable price. The camper staff are able to organise a transfer from a local village into the dunes if you only choose to hire a two wheel drive car. It looked to be just about possible to get to the camp with the two wheel drive car but not for the fainthearted, and would require a good degree of confidence

We had an unforgettable experience here, like in a fairy tale from the Arabian Nights amidst the breathtaking desert dunes, we experienced genuine, warm hospitality. We checked into a villa that we were told was ours and were looked after by Tushar, who was invisible, very respectful of privacy and yet always there when we needed him. He explained that the owner of the house, Mohammed, had told him that it wasn't about money, the only important thing was that the guests were happy and that they were treated like family. The landlord, Mohammed himself, took us into the desert and treated us to a big dinner in the middle of the dunes, and when a sandstorm came up, Mohammed even conjured up an innovative shelter for us out of flying carpets. On the day of our departure, we were surprised by Mohammed and his children who visited us with presents, we experienced the great hospitality of Oman first hand and felt at home, and now, back home, we miss it very much.

What a magical experience. The dome is surrounded by beautiful desert. Very peaceful. The host was also very attentive and kind. Highly recommend staying here. Inside the dome is also very comfortable and well designed.

PRO TIP: Before driving into the desert, in the city, deflate your tires at the nearest gas station (should be free, an automatic machine) to about 17-18 PSI. This will help your car move better in the desert. Middle of June, We stayed for 1 night in one of the tents. We were the only people on site because it is the off-season. Temperatures ranged from 28 to 45 degrees. It was hot, but it was a very surreal experience. Before even arriving at the camp, our car got stuck in the sand because we did not deflate our tires. The manager of the property promptly responded to my cry for help and dispatched a worker who arrived within 20min to take me to the resort. After, they helped us get our car unstuck within 5 minutes. The service and hospitality were impeccable. The food (added separately, breakfast and dinner) were both delicious! We did the dune-bashing/sunset activity for 30 OMR (for a group, total) which was absolutely amazing. would highly recommend this place, 10/10.

In fact, everything is even better than in the photo and in the description. They met us in the nearest city, lowered the pressure in the tires and took us to the camp. The tent has everything you need, a shower and a toilet. The beds are very clean. They fed us a delicious dinner, and then we sat around the fire with marshmallows. On February 14th there was a fireworks display.
