It is a great interpretation of an authentic guest house: simple facilities but very comfortable, clean rooms, cozy common areas telling you stories of the Omani sea culture. Everything there invites you to chill out and eventually socialize with other guests. You will enough the greatest omani hospitality - you’ll be welcome with incense smell, rose tea, Arabic coffee, and fresh fruits , which will stay available all the time for the guests- with an international touch from a well travelled host Salem ( we even found a great Italian moka coffe !!) . Very good rich breakfast and dinner too if you like . We enjoyed also the boat tour, watching turtles, lots of dolphin and nice snorkeling. We’ll be back with more friends for sure ! … and beach nearby is wonderful !

The host definitely made this stay so much better! Hé is very kind and prepared a wonderful diner and breakfast for us. He even showed us a baby turtle that got lost and made it to the guest house (turtle will be returned to sea ofcourse). You can easily go to the turtle reserve from here to go on a turtle tour. ( I would actually not recommend this as it is clearly a tourist trap and over 100 people will look at one turtle). The host can book a boat tour for the same amount, I wish we would’ve done that. Great stay!

The property is still new, very clean and in great condition. There is a swimming pool and a cozy shaded seating area available as well as the indoor reception area / majlis. The host, Mr. Abdullah, is very helpful and always available on site. He did everything to make the stay enjoyable. We were traveling over the Eid holidays and on this occasion were treated to a delicious home cooked dinner, provided by the owner Mr. Humaid.
