Had the blue room which was a 1 bed en-suite. Traditional 4 poster bed. Our kids had the family room for 5 adults and 1 child. All good. Very close to everything. The owner, Ima, was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. Thankfully she spoke a great level of English. The famous Basilica was a stones throwaway. The whole house was a showcase of the grand old days! The creativity and artistry of the Filipinos could be seen in even the smallest details of the house. A walk through time and history, for sure! And the staff! They were the ultimate in making our stay comfortable. The warmth and friendliness of everyone felt like we were coming home to family and not just visiting.
