Fatima and Lois were excellent hosts. Happy to give tips on what to see in the area. They invited us to sit with them and were happy to chat. Making us feel at home., making refreshments and tea and coffee available. Close to town. Room was well appointed. They were even kind enough to arrange for our washing to be done. We felt like we were at home.

Very nice and well-equipped house. The children liked the swimming pool. We were lucky because only our group stayed in the house that night, and we had the entire house to ourselves. So, we didn't need to share the kitchen or living room with others. I highly recommend this place.

My whole stay was excellent. Both Milene and Fernando were super friendly and fantastic hosts. I was privileged enough to have the entire place to myself for a couple of days mid week and out of season and it made me feel I was home. Thank you both for your kindness and attention to detail. Location is superb. Very close to the Conimbriga site, the most extensive Roman remains in Portugal. Parking at the front of the hotel. Spacious lobby and very helpful staff. Our room was spacious and clean, with all the facilities you'd expect from a high-class hotel. The indoor pool area and sauna, etc, was brilliant. Did not try the outside pools in January!! Food was very good (choice and quality) without being exceptional. The staff in all areas of the hotel were exceptionally friendly and efficient. Maybe I got a good deal, but I considered our 3 night stay to be superb value for money. We will definitely be going back.
