It was incredible ! The hotel has an amazing view on the lake, which is a perfect spot for taking your breakfast. True definition of luxury ! Super calm, super comfortable bed. I stayed in luxury hotels in Rwanda but this one has been my absolute favorite. Amazing and super helpful staff too !

Big beautiful room (more like little cottage), spacious terase, and outside shower with plenty of hot water with most amazing view. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Everything else was just exceptional. Stuff, food, activities, view, pool. Really one of the best accommodations we stayed in.

Wonderful hotel at an absolutely amazing location on the shore of lake Kivu. The road to the hotel is 10km of adventurous 4x4 terrain, but the hotel also offers boat pickups from nearby cities. When there, also explore the nearby coffee factory that gives tours - hotel boat can take you across the bay.

    Nice view; located directly at the lake; super friendly and kind service; solid breakfast; in walking distance to Kibuye; good restaurant as neighbour; connected to local guide who offers plenty activities on short notice (enjoyed a 3h boat trip to a couple island, incl. one with monkeys on it). Above all: massages at spa shallum are an absolute must-do, it was perfect and affordable.
