So it's a great base for walking around and exploring the town. The funicular railway to get to your room is a fun experience and worked fine, although sometimes a little slow when it's busy. My room was very large and the bed comfortable. The renowned funicular lift was fun (although it didn't work both times when I had to transport my luggage!). I didn't use the pool but I imagine it would have been good. Staff were generally friendly and helpful and helped to organise my taxi transfer. Very family friendly location. My first time to be in Honiara and I was scared because I arrived at 8pm. But was at Peace when I saw Joe waiting at the arrivals.
