Very cozy and clean sauna, kind people, location was also perfect, center of umeå and you can buy your stuff at the supermarket next to the hotel. The gym was a bit tiny but pretty enough for upper training.

Great breakfast buffett with many things to choose from, inclusing self-made waffles + toppings, very attentive and friendly service The pet-friendly room is located directly at the back entrance, with towels for cleaning paws provided and also everything (!) else that you need for your dog, I've never been to a hotel/hostel providing that good service and am very thankful for this warm and practical welcome. Even with fresh water in the water bowl. Very much appreciated by my dog, too :)

One of the best places I've ever stayed. It's not the right place for those who want something luxury but it's the place for people appreciating good taste and home atmosphere. It's former jail, yes, but it's one of the coziest places I've seen. I enjoyed everything: cozy atmosphere, comfortable bed, inner decor, breakfast, easy check in at night. Special thank you for fresh flowers and candles! They really gave the feeling of home. It was so nice to talk to the owner at the end of my stay and to learn the story of family business.
